Another of my Hobbies

Besides photography another of my hobbies is making or restoring old pieces of furniture. These shelves were once a lovely old wardrobe. Unfortunately these days the need for wardrobes is almost gone. So I decided to modify & change it's purpose.

This is a silky oak sideboard that I altered to use for a TV stand - video, DVD unit!
The sun was shining through the shed and really shows the beautiful woodgrain of the silky oak

This is the Brisbane Eye @ Southbank in Brisbane City. The night I went there with my wife the Greek Festival was on. You can see the fireworks in the background.

Hello My Name is Edward

Hi my name is Edward. Obviously I am new to Blogger. My wife whom has a blog of her own on here has been at me for sometime to start a blog for myself. My wife & I both have our own SLR cameras and venture out to different destinations on weekends to learn how to use our newish toys. We are really loving the experience.
